The advantage of R290 gas over existing refrigerants used in air conditioners is its low ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) of zero and its very low GWP=3 (Global Warming Potential). Compared to the two coefficients of the gases used so far, the environmental impact of R290 gas is low.
