Weston Climate Pro R290 50 kW is a powerful and energy-efficient air-to-water heat pump for larger buildings. The unit uses the natural refrigerant R290, which is propane. Its global warming potential is only 3 and it has no ozone depletion potential. This makes the pump an eco-friendly and future-proof choice that complies with the requirements of the F-gas regulation.

Full inverter technology smoothly regulates compressor and fan operation according to the actual heat demand. The result is a stable water temperature, lower energy consumption, and a longer equipment lifespan. EVI technology ensures good heating output and efficiency even in cold weather, and the pump operates stably down to an outdoor temperature of −35 °C.

The outgoing water temperature reaches up to 75 °C. Therefore, the pump is suitable for underfloor heating and fan coils as well as traditional high-temperature radiators. In summer, the unit can be used for cooling when the outgoing water temperature is 7–25 °C.

The heat pump produces domestic hot water up to 75 °C, and the temperature can be set by the user via the controller. The built-in high-temperature sterilization function protects the domestic hot water against Legionella bacteria.

Nominal heating capacity (A7/W35) ranges from 18.5 to 50.5 kW with a COP of up to 4.70. The compact casing with a single compressor and a single fan, measuring 1100 × 1100 × 2150 mm, is well-suited for installation in confined spaces. The noise level starts from 39 dB(A).
